Staying Hydrated in the Winter

Even though the temperature is dropping, the need to consume water remains the same.
Tip: Drink at least 8 ounces of water directly after waking up in the morning
Water is known as the universal solvent, meaning it dissolves other substances easily. The average human body contains 70% of water. However, the only way for one to retain this 70% water composition is to continuously consume it. Avidly consuming water helps dissolve toxic substances that the body produces (remember, water is a solvent. Even inside the body). By drinking at least 64 ounces of water each day, one can remain healthy. It is integral that one consumes 8 of these 64 ounces in the morning when they wake. By the time somoeone has woken up, seven to eight hours has gone by without any liquid intake. Now that the body is awake, it needs water replenishment to fuel life sustaining processes such as making ATP. Water also dissolves any grime in the mouth, so swishing the water around in the mouth isn’t a bad idea. Conclusively, water is a necessary component in the daily lives of humans. Why not start the day off right with a nice glass of water
