A huge part of managing stress is managing time. Most college students have had those days where they are “too stressed” to go to class. They might be behind on homework in other classes or they might not have gotten enough sleep the night before. However strong the desire to skip class is, students are advised to still go to class. Not going to class only adds to the list of things you have to make up. Playing catch-up in these situations is harder than it seems at eight o’ clock in the morning. If you are mainly stressed about grades (as most students are) attending class can help boost your grade and help you understand the subjects better. Overall, don’t make a decision for temporary relief from stress when it could potentially cause you more stress in the long run.
