Power of Friendship

Sometimes you need more than yourself during stressful situations. A strong group of friends or family are beneficial when you’re going through a tough time. They will likely help you with your problems and talk them out with you. Even when you’re not under stress, having a social group such as this will make you feel comforted. Conversing with another person will help reduce your stress, even if the conversation only lasts a few minutes. A recent study, called “Two Stressed People Equal Less Stress”, insisted that sharing your thoughts and feelings with another stressed person is helpful! When you’re at a difficult point in your life, interacting with someone who is feeling similarly lowers your stress levels. So when you’re feeling overwhelmed, a good conversation can help alleviate anxiety.
