Exercise is my favorite stress manager. It relieves stress and promotes overall fitness, and being healthy can help deal with daily stress. Exercise can combat stress-related diseases such as obesity, heart disease, and even depression.

College students, on average, get about 6-6.9 hours of sleep per night. Stress causes your mind to race and may stimulate anxiety-provoking thoughts before going to bed. However, exercising daily is proven to help you fall asleep faster and deepens your sleep.

Whether it’s taking a class at the Student Recreation Center or taking a walk in nice weather, exercise is a great way to manage stress!
